My Smart Fortwo 451 fuel cap lashing, that keeps it from drooping or losing it, also cease to be no more. Originally I printed the dtremper solution but in my case it was slightly lose on the cap connection (big hole side). What I found was that is was possible to use the original ring, already around the cap, just remove it carefully not to break. You just need to remove the small "extrusions" that holds it in place, it will expose two holes with 2mm diameter (see picture Cap Ring). So I design a part that fits inside the same connection space. You will find two versions: * one with pins in one side, this will require the usage of supper glue to keep it in place. Don't forget to wash the parts and the holes otherwise the fuel residues won't allow the glue to work. * one with holes, this will require the usage of small pieces of filament to be melted in place. You can see on the Final_result how it looks in the end. I printed with 4 walls and 55% of cubic infill. Just don't look on the stringing of the filament, I'm still learning to work with TPU.
