Another crack at the boulder with rugged facets; those facets fared much better within Mudbox, yet I was surrounded by a sea of red lines and dots everywhere, indicating something is still seriously amiss in terms of the Maya-to-Mudbox pipeline. I managed to dive deep into texturing the side aspects of the rock, but the top and bottom faces remained a jumbled mess of polygons.
