GARRETT ATX Shaft Wrench

GARRETT ATX Shaft Wrench

thingiverse

I had to take apart my Garrett ATX shaft to remove all the holiday sand that had accumulated. It would have been a huge hassle to get a wrench or spanner here, so I designed and printed one myself. It works surprisingly well. I added two holes to the rim of the wrench to accommodate 3mm x 20mm brass machine screws. To fit snugly into the ATX's camlocks, I carefully filed down the tips of the screws to about 2.5mm. Make sure these screw tips fit securely into the holes before applying any force to the wrench or you may end up stripping the holes. Use this information at your own risk!
