GARRETT ATX END CAP SCUFF GUARD
thingiverse
Working in tidal pools and amongst rocks with my new GARRETT ATX inspired me to create some protection on the rear end for this rugged machine. This scuff guard is designed to shield the back end of the Garrett ATX, covering its speaker while leaving room for the on/off switch and headphone connector - both of which can be used without any issues even with the scuff guard in place. The scuff guard fits snugly into position, so it doesn't require any additional fastening. Further work may involve adding mounts for a sling attachment, a feature I'm currently considering. I've included the Inventor ipt file for those who want to make modifications like creating slots for the speaker - I haven't done this myself because I'd prefer to keep as much debris out of the speaker as possible.
