My first made at allI constructed a yarn bowl out of a pigeon (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:182132) with a passage from the back of the head to the beak to hold back the ball of wool.I used PLA with 3 layers and 10% infill. This makes it very stable.But because it is too big for my 3D printer, I cut the dove into 3 parts to print it individually and then glue it together.Depending on the orientation, a supporting structure is needed.Suggestions, questions and tips welcome.Enjoy
