Garmin Zumo XT Sunshade
thingiverse
Designed specifically for the Garmin ZUMO XT. I have tested this thoroughly on my bike and I have not applied any kind of adhesive and it has not shifted at all whilst moving (at speed and over bumps) as the friction between PLA and Garmin is more than enough to hold it in place as the tolerances are perfect, even though I say so myself :-) I recommend a spray with a clear semi-gloss clear coat when finished (such as Rustoleum clear coat semi-gloss which I got from the local DIY store). This gives it better weather-proofing and a nice finish. Tip for this is to sit it on a brick with sun shade pointing up, couple of quick sprays and done. It also wouldn't hurt to run a very fine grit paper over the model just prior to spraying as this takes the edges down just slightly. Prints flat with no supports in about 2.5 hours on a Prusa. I used 25% infill and 0.15mm quality setting with the brim boxed ticked. Printed with PLA+ at normal temperature settings. If you do feel you need to apply any kind of adhesive in to ensure it can't possibly come off I purposely put a ridge into the model so that you can apply some double sided 3M tape to allow this. It's a one-shot deal if you do this though as you won't be able to take it on and off at will.
