Garmin Zumo 550 gps forkmount

After discovering my previous RAM mount system was incompatible with my Aprilia RSV1000R, I designed a custom 51mm fork mount for my motorcycle, onto which I bolted a Garmin GPS holder. Initially, I used STL files for 53mm and 51mm forks but have since modified the 45-degree closing end 51mm design to avoid brake fluid reservoir contact. I've tested my first prototype, but unfortunately, the bracket broke due to weak layers caused by a jammed extruder during printing. As a result, I developed version 3 (v3) of the mount, which I plan to test next. V3 has proven strong enough for its intended use and will be adjusted further if necessary. However, the GPS positioning isn't perfect, requiring users to look down to view the screen. To replicate this design, customize the OpenScad file according to your fork diameter (52mm for 51mm forks, 54mm for 53mm forks), export as STL, print, remove supports, and secure with a 4mm bolt and nut.
With this file you will be able to print Garmin Zumo 550 gps forkmount with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Garmin Zumo 550 gps forkmount.
