Garmin Vivosmart HR - Velcro wristband adapters

thingiverse

I had the OEM rubber wristband break twice on me, so decided to try designing adapters for velcro straps from the hardware store. The first version was done in tinkercad and worked well for about 4 months before the screw socket of the adapter broke (on the weird side). That was with clear PLA, so the material was known to be a little brittle and designed for all the salt water and abuse it was being exposed to. I modified/redesigned the first model in Fusion360 adding a support piece across the top of the weird side to hopefully give it a bit more support. FYI the flat side has closer spaced screws and a flat mounting surface. The weird side has extra plastic on the watch body (for no obvious functional purpose other than to accommodate the Garmin logo) that requires the screws be wider spaced and a cutout between the screws in the band mount so as to fit to the watch body. This most recent print was done from PrusaSlicer on prusa, as ironically, I could not get Simplify3d to slice the tiny screw holes correctly. Print was done with Hatchbox orange PLA at 200 first/ 195 rest. I'm including that gcode. I completely realize that this is not the newest watch and so it might be unlikely that others need this, but the method could easily been extended to other similar watches.
