The quality low-poly 3D model of Garmin VIRB X action camera used in various fields like 3D Graphics includes game development, advertising, interior design, motion picture art, visualization, etc.. The model was made by ortho-photos of real action cameras which is why all details of design are recreated most authentically. The ease of use of this model consists of just a few meshes, it's low-polygonal and has only two materials, one for the Body and another for the glass lens. This model thinks over topology so well that in combination with detailed textures, it allows for a minimum amount of polygons to get maximum quality, which can be enough even for close up. To increase advanced realism, these textures are used: Specular, Glossiness, Bump and Emission for the luminous elements of the model like screens, indicators etc.. If you use V-Ray renderer and V-Ray MTL material set BRDF Type as Phong for correct glossiness effect. For a correct reflecting effect you need to set Use Fresnel and Fresnel IOR is 5. For best Bump depth we set Bump Multiplier is 0.1 - 0.2. Specular and Glossiness maps are set which shows the reflective and dispersing capacities of different areas of the model that gives an effect of using more materials. There are total five main textures, with all textures having a resolution of 4096 pixels square in .png format. There are also original texture files in .PSD format inside this archive. You can animate head slope and rotation by relevant groups of the model. The model was created in the 'Maya 2009' 3D program. This model has correct dimensions in real-world scale in centimeters, all parts are correctly grouped and named. Additionally there is an adjusted render-scene that is created in the Maya 2014 with renderer plug-in V-Ray 2.40. This scene opens perfectly fine on earlier versions up to Maya 2012 with V-Ray 2.0 because it is saved in .ma format. The scene includes 6 V-Ray Rect Light + reflectors, and the V-Ray MTL material is assigned to this model. On Timeline set keys of the model and Render Camera position are relevant Preview Images. If you don't need these positions don't forget to delete animation keys from translation and rotation channels. This model was also rendered in another scene with HDRI lighting for a more realistic presentation, so that the user can better understand material characteristic and geometry. The HDRI scene is not included for a sale. You can use this model in other 3D programs since scenes are saved in formats: .fbx, .obj, .DAE, .max(2010 version). Note: This low-poly model is designed not to be used with any smoothing modifiers.
