Garmin Varia Propel Seatpost Adapter

Garmin Varia Propel Seatpost Adapter

thingiverse

Garmin Varia comes with 3 rubber 'adapters' for seatposts, but not one that will fit onto Giant Propel Aero seatpost. Printing: - make sure you orient the model so the one flat side is completely on the buildplate - see the image on how it should be like - use infill of 100% (you want it as sturdy as it can be) - do not forget to turn on supports (touch builtplate only, others will manage to stick fine) After printing: - remove support, maybe use sandpaper to smooth it out where needed - use small hex wrench (2.5mm) to screw original Varia quarter-turn holder (take it apart before) onto the printed part - then mounting on bike, use smallest possible rubber band (it will be tight, don't worry it won't break) - ride! Designed it in FreeCAD, plan to re-draw it in Fusion 360 one day, or when some modifications will be needed/requested.
