Garmin, Striker 4 Carrier
thingiverse
I printed the carrier on a Prusa MK3S with PETG. I slowed the print down to 50% to get a good print. This took three days to complete, but it was worth it. The transducer that came with my Striker was for mounting on a hull and not meant for ice fishing. When ice fishing you want the transducer to point straight down when placing it in the hole. In order to get the transducer, that I have, to point down it needed to move the center of gravity on it. The transducer hook was my solution for that. It can be adjusted to accommodate angles, too. I used this today (Feb 3, 2022) for the first time ice fishing. The Striker 4, in dual beam mode, rather than flasher mode, was a lot of fun fishing with. I could see my baited hook, and sinker, on the screens rather easily and all the Bluegills. I could see them chasing the sinker and I would pull the bait up to them... got a few that way. Oh, this is not a fishing blog.
