Garmin silicone case adapter

I discovered that my new Garmin Edge 520 won't attach properly onto the out-front mount when I put it in the silicone case. The bracket catches on the case, gripping and distorting it. To resolve this issue, you'll need a small spacer under the quarter turn mount. This adjustment is barely perceptible but ensures the Garmin attaches flawlessly with the silicone case still intact. One thing to bear in mind: with the offset in place, the screws holding the quarter turn mount to the out-front bracket aren't seated as deeply as they should be. Although it appears secure enough with the original screws, it's a good idea to swap them out for 1mm longer hex bolts for added peace of mind.
