Here's a real-world tested Garmin Livescope Sonar transducer mount that gives you everything in one place - Forward view, down view, and perspective mode. Designed to attach to a pole mount, this particular model accommodates a 28mm pole, which I built from an anodized aluminum telescoping pool cleaner pole. This mount comes with the knob design to tighten and adjust the angle as needed. It uses a 2.5" 1/4-20 pan head bolt and nylock nut for added stability and security.
