Garmin GPS 2595 dash mount

I'm fed up with windshield mounts suction cups constantly falling off my windscreen, so I decided to create this dash mount myself. For your convenience, I've included the OpenScad file for you to modify and adjust according to your needs. When creating the structure of the mount, I paid close attention to its curvature, which matches the shape of my car's dashboard. Since my car has a thick edge, I couldn't design a sliding structure that fits over it perfectly. Instead, the mount is fixed firmly in place using double-sided tape. ### Customizing the Curvature If you need to adjust the curving of your dashboard mount, simply change the radius of the circle in the SCAD file from 305 to whatever value suits your needs. Don't forget to also update the translate parameter accordingly. You can find more information on this process at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sagitta_(geometry). ### Mount Orientation The dash mount features little hooks on each side of its bracket, which are designed to securely hold your GPS device in place. These hooks are positioned so that they fix the lower edge of the GPS unit firmly onto the mount.
