Garmin Foretrex 401 quick release holder / support attache rapide

English Update 03/2018 Added V2 with improved attachment. My electric scooter lacks a speed/mileage counter, and I'm unsure if the wheels are compatible with legacy bicycle counter sensors. To solve this issue, I chose to use my trusty Garmin Foretrex 401 GPS device, which performs exceptionally well. Unfortunately, the built-in attachment method is not very convenient. I then decided to design a quick attach/release cradle that stays permanently on the scooter using the original attachment system. It works remarkably well and I'm extremely happy with it. I can now snap my GPS onto my scooter in just 2 seconds and remove it quickly to put it back into my pocket when finished riding.
