I recently purchased a Garmin Forerunner 620 GPS watch, which is an excellent device, but unfortunately, its wristband was slightly too small for my wrist. Given that they only offer one size, I decided to create a custom extension element measuring approximately 10 mm in length. This modification allows me to securely fasten the watch on my wrist using two extension elements. To integrate these additional components onto the watch, I procured an extra wristband and utilized the special bolts and nuts included with it for secure installation. By employing the same black color PLA as the rubber wristband itself, the extensions blend seamlessly into the existing design, creating a factory-fresh appearance. Notably, this modification should also accommodate the FR 220 model, as both devices utilize identical wristbands. The custom extension was designed using Sketchup Make 2014 and printed on an UltiMaker 1 (2011Q1 model) with all official enhancements and a heated bed featuring a glass sheet on top.
