Garmin Fenix 5X Plus OTG charger
thingiverse
For charging a Garmin Fenix 5X Plus on the go - instead of using the standard Garmin charger that plugs perpendicularly into the back of the watch. The cable, PCB and charging pins were scavenged from from cheap generic charging 'pucks' that can be bought online. The STL includes an attempt at small clips on the strap supports, but these were filed off as the fit is sufficiently snug between the watch and the arm to maintain the charging connection. The same goes for the impressions of the four screws on the back of the watch case. The sides of the charging hole contain slight lumps that Garmin uses to clip the charger in, but I'm not sure this is printed at a high enough resolution for these to make any difference. At the time of posting, this had not yet been taken for a test run. I will cover the wires with a sleeve before the testing starts.
