Garmin etrex30 Keylock cover

I've always been frustrated by my Garmin Etrex 30's lack of software keylock feature. During walks, I find myself constantly juggling the GPS device in my pocket or bag to prevent accidental menu switching or waypoint setting. The absence of a lock mechanism means the joystick can be easily triggered, resulting in unintentional navigation changes. To address this issue, I designed and built a hardware keylock that not only secures the device but also serves as a protective cover for the Etrex 30. When attached, the full display remains fully visible, ensuring seamless use during my outdoor adventures. I recently put my new keylock cover to the test on a three-day hike and was thoroughly impressed with its performance.
