The Garmin mount is engineered to rest on the dashboard with confidence. I created it because I wanted a central location without obstructing the view through the windshield. The design prioritizes a sleek and unobstructed view, perfect for navigating through heavy traffic. I developed this model specifically for the Garmin DriveSmart 61 (6.95" display), but it will also fit other DriveSmart 6X and 5X models with the same size display. However, please note that not all devices may be compatible due to varying dimensions. To prevent the mount from shifting back and forth, I've incorporated an anti-slip pad for added stability. This ensures a secure hold on your device, even during bumpy rides. The DriveSmart 61 measures 173 x 99 x 19 mm in physical dimensions, making it a compact yet functional addition to any vehicle's dashboard. A quick note: the sides of the USB holder have been extended by 3mm compared to the original design.
