Garmin DashCam20 Mount
thingiverse
The suction cup on my Garmin Dash Cam 20 refuses to stick to the windshield of my truck during the harsh winter months. To overcome this issue, I designed a mount that attaches the GPS device to the rear view mirror support in my Ford Super Duty truck. Initially, I attempted to create the part as one single unit but encountered significant difficulties getting it to print correctly with internal supports. Consequently, I decided to split the part into two separate pieces, which allowed me to print them without any additional supports. To assemble this custom mount, you will need a 3mm x 25mm machine screw and a corresponding 3mm nut. Fortunately, the hole for the nut is sufficiently deep to accommodate a locking nut, providing added security and stability.
