This is a transducer mount designed specifically to attach a Garmin CV20-TM transducer securely to 1.5 inch ABS or PVC pipe. The idea behind this project was to create a durable and reliable solution for my float tube rod holders, which were made from ABS pipe according to Fish Newb's design, modified slightly, as seen on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0tP1VCS1L4. To bring this design to life, I recommend printing it at 0.2mm resolution or better - high resolution is crucial for accurately capturing the detent rings. This mount was designed to perfectly match the part that comes attached permanently to the transducer from Garmin, as shown in the photos provided. When printing, make sure to do so without supports. The design includes three small built-in supports, one of which can be seen in a photo and should be removed after printing. For the actual hardware needed for assembly, stainless steel components are recommended, with 10-24 or 10-32 screws and nuts used throughout. Specifically, a 1-3/4 length screw with a washer and nyloc nut is required for the transducer pivot, while two pipe attach screws of 1-1/4 length with nyloc nuts will also be needed. When tightening these components, remember not to overtighten - simply tighten until the detent works smoothly.
