Garmin Car GPS Vent mount for Honda Jazz/Fit 2014 model

Attached is a GPS mount design that mounts directly into the vent of a Honda Jazz/Fit 2014 model, featuring a ball on the mount suitable for Garmin 17mm connections. The mount secures itself to both the top of the dash and the underside of the vent bezel using two small screws with a diameter of approximately 2mm and a length of about 8mm. A stencil/profile of the vent shape is also included, allowing users to quickly verify if the profile fits their vehicle before printing. The remix of the sunshade shown on the GPS mount is available online at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4083115 (compatible with Garmin Drive Smart 50's). This design was based on a Nuvi 75 sunshade available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1901428. Updates: 3rd Feb 20 - I reworked the design to accommodate ABS printing, resulting in two separate pieces: a ball mount and a dashboard clamp. To ensure a successful print of the ball, I used ABS glue to attach the two pieces together. The extruder temperature was set to 231C to prevent distortion. 21st Jan 20 - After experiencing issues with PETG melting in Australian summer temperatures, I decided to switch to ABS, which has a higher glass transition temperature (about 105C). However, this may lead to layer cracking due to the lack of a printer hood. 8th Jan 20 - I uploaded an updated design featuring a slightly larger ball size (17.25 mm) and optimized slicing settings to improve print quality. The orientation was adjusted to minimize drooping caused by vibration, and thinner layers were used to enhance the shape of the ball. 6th Jan 20 - Initially, I observed that the GPS mount was drooping on the ball mount due to a lack of friction between the two pieces. To address this issue, I experimented with different print settings and materials but ultimately resorted to inserting a small piece of toilet paper into the joint to increase friction until further solutions are found.
