Garmin Cadence Clip with zip ties support
thingiverse
Original Garmin rubber bands for mounting cadence sensor are absolute junk. Within the first month of usage, I've managed to damage two out of three that came with the box. I've taken the original design by svopstal and enhanced it with some additional 'pegs'/'studs' specifically designed for 2.5mm zip ties. Unfortunately, my crank arms are partially hollow on the inner side, which means relying solely on adhesive to mount the sensor was not a viable option. In addition, I've utilized Tesa Super Strong tape. However, it arrived slightly too wide for my crank arm, and I'll need to make some adjustments in future versions. After one ~20km aggressive ride, everything holds up perfectly - so far, so good. Keep in mind that this is probably the most basic model you've seen; I have very little experience with CAD/CAM.
