This Version will fit the 17mm ball mounts. I was trying to find a quick-release GPS carrier for my GPSmap 60Csx. an old-school GPS but it's rugged. I found one, but it had a different mounting system on the back and did not suit my other mounting systems. I couldn't find just what I wanted, so I remixed a couple of models and came up with something that I think will work for several models of GPS not just my 60csx other models, Garmin Etrex 10 , GPSmap60,62,64,65,86 , possibly the Astro range. Magellan Explorist, Sportrack, and possibly Meridian range. I will attribute both original makers when I find them again.
