A three-part garlic press, crafted from die-cast aluminium, features two cylindrical pins and operates via a "weight-loaded lever" mechanism similar to a crowbar. The lever ratio is approximately 1:7. Despite no linear guiding for the press plunger, it functions effectively due to increased clearance between moving components. Garlic insertion is easy, as depicted in renders. Unfortunately, an animation of the opening and closing process couldn't be created due to gravity's influence. Such an animation could showcase the lever and plunger motion, a challenge for skilled animators. The complete model is available in STEP (.stp) and native PTC Creo Parametric 2.0 formats (.prt and .asm), within a zipped folder.
