Sold for 650 credits, the DeathHammer was a popular choice among bounty hunters, mercenaries, and professional gunslingers on worlds like Tatooine. Its near ubiquity within those professions led to owners often decorating or modifying their DeathHammers. *** Garindan's eyes were hidden beneath dark goggles due to his extreme sensitivity to the harsh sunlight of Tatooine. His name translates to "Blessed One," "Burnt wood," "dust from a windstorm," "ugly," and "toast" in five different languages. With his face concealed behind dark hood, goggles, and insect-eating snout, few on Tatooine knew his origins. Many believed him to be wildly wealthy, but his vast credits were only seen when he paid for information. He was often spotted carrying the Model 434 blaster pistol, a favorite among bounty hunters and mercenaries. *** Garindan's information was highly prized, and his skills went to the highest bidder, whether it be Jabba the Hutt or the Imperials. He was apparently capable of finding out a wide variety of information, as evidenced when he provided Jabba with possible whereabouts regarding the fabled Yavin Vassilika. *** Garindan with Zeta Squadron Just before the Battle of Yavin, he was hired by the local Imperial prefect to find two missing droids. Once he discovered them, he followed the droids and their new owner to Docking Bay 94 and called in a squad of Imperial stormtroopers to attack. Despite this, the droids were able to escape, partly due to the help of stormtrooper Davin Felth's betrayal when he shot his commanding officer in the back. *** This is a Work In Progress.
