Gargoyle and Snake Column
thingiverse
The explorers had just turned the corner to uncover a rather intriguing pillar. A serpent was coiled around it, making its way up the pillar, and at the top four gargoyles were standing strong, supporting the entire structure. The gargoyle design I used came from Shakespeare's work, which he obtained by scanning the staircase of the Biltmore hotel in Coral Gables, Florida. The winding serpent and pillar are entirely my creations. This could be a pivotal part of a narrative where the snake and gargoyles somehow come to life out of the pillar. A word of caution: this is best printed upside down. Depending on your 3-D printer, it may require additional support structures.
