My first attempt at photogrammetry turned out well. If you want to try this method a couple of key points. Use a completely non-reflective object. This is a plaster garden gargoyle and is non-reflective. Move around the object instead of rotating the object. Meshroom uses metadata from the camera to identify location so it needs to know top, side, bottom, etc. I used my Samsung cellphone camera, nothing special.
