This is a cap to replace the cup and cap group in the Gardyn hydroponic system. Using only a cap avoids nutrient-rich water sitting in a cup with no plant/plant roots to block light and use the nutrients. It does come with the down side of hearing the water dropping a full section when the pump runs.
