prusaprinters
I wanted to learn how to make twisted vases in FreeCad. These planters kind of evolved out of those lessons. Since I thought spring was coming up shortly, I thought it would be fun to try to make some planters and pots for outside. Little did I know one when I was making them, spring would be extremely late and would not come for close to two months. So I had them printed for a while before I could actually test them outside. The 8 inch tall planter is made very durable and has thick walls. It should be suitable for most plants with deep roots. The smaller sizes look great with small plants or succulents. I printed mine using a .8mm nozzle to save some time. I printed mine in PLA because I wanted to print mine in a multicolor filaments I had. I added small drainage holes after printing with a drill. These should scale well.
