The original connector that came with my purchase didn't quite meet my requirements, so I decided to remix it using most of the Hose side and a swing pipe coupler from my collection. I had previously connected two bronze water statues several years ago, but finding the right parts on Amazon or Home Depot was a challenge. However, I managed to make do by repurposing some components. By creating this custom connector, I was able to eliminate all the unnecessary bits and establish a straightforward connection between a water hose, a garden hose y-valve, and 1/2 in ID swing hose that ultimately connects to the statues. As expected, the new setup works significantly better than my previous arrangement and is also more cost-effective. To ensure the longevity of this assembly, I chose PETG as the printing material due to the chlorinated water it will be exposed to and the potential for direct sunlight on the connections. During the printing process, I oriented the garden hose end downwards and omitted any support structures. While I didn't test the connector without rubber washers, I did add them to prevent leaks on the hose side.
