Gardena Rain Sensor 1189 - Fence/Utility Pole Mount

<p>This is a mounting bracket that will attach your <a href="https://www.gardena.com/int/products/watering/water-controls/rain-sensor-electronic/900898701/">Gardena Rain Sensor Electronic (model 1189-20)</a> to a fence or utility pole.</p><p>I designed this to be easily printed without supports. There are some drainage features to prevent water from accumulating. (The screw access holes are angled downwards, and the top funnels into the first screw hole for any water that gets through the threading.)</p><p>There are two versions—a flat-backed one for a fence, and a curved one for a utility pole.</p><p>Dimensional parameters:</p><ul><li>Utility pole circumference of 855 mm</li><li>Screw holes are sized for #10 flat (countersunk) wood screws</li></ul><p>Printing and mounting instructions:</p><ul><li>Choose the version you'd like (utility pole or fence)</li><li>Print as oriented in the .stl file, with the angled side flat on the print bed</li><li>You should not need to use any supports for printing</li><li>Make sure to use a material that will tolerate your outdoor weather</li><li>Pre-drill the screw holes and do not overtighten</li><li>The rain sensor thread has 4 starts, so you should be able to align the cord as you prefer</li></ul>
