Gardena conversion for mud kitchen faucet
thingiverse
We got this old kitchen sink and wanted to use it for a mud kitchen for our daughter. The included faucet has two ports, but the garden hose just needs one. So I decided on blind plugging one and use the other with one of these flexible hoses. The thread of the former is M10x1 and the one of the latter 3/8 inch. That is what the Gardena piece is designed for. The blind plug got a Torx 20 like internal drive. There are four different versions of the coupling - having a 3, 4, 5 or 6mm through hole to fit your preferred flow rate. Just let me know if you need different threads or hole diameters! For sourcing both ports with water you could use two coupling parts and two garden hoses or switch over to the remixed thing 862748 by poldi1001, which is a y-connector Gardena to two 3/8 inch ports. The O-rings you will need for the Gardena part is IDxSD 7,1x1,8mm, the one for the blind plug is 11,2x2,65mm. I found both of them in a set of sealings, so i assume these are fairly common dimensions. Regarding standard inch size charts, 0.301x0.07 and 0.426x0.07 should fit. Edit 22.08.2023: added Versions with 2 and 2.5mm through holes
