Gardena connector for standard household faucet
thingiverse
This device enables you to attach a standard Gardena connector directly to your faucet. I required a way to connect a hose to my faucet and discovered the 'hose connector to household faucet' component online, so I cut out the hose adapter part and added a Gardena connector instead. Simply remove the tap cap by unscrewing it, take away the filter, insert this device in place of the filter, and then screw everything back together. I've tested it on my IKEA (Sundsvik) faucet and it works perfectly; I believe it will function just as well on most taps. --update-- v2 - The initial design that worked for me had a relatively small hole diameter at the tap end. v3 - I enlarged the hole at the tap end to match the Gardena end, which increased water flow. v4 - I upgraded the design with a slightly larger hole diameter at the tap end, resulting in reduced leakage. v5 - I strengthened the design by making it thicker, as the previous version had a weak spot that constantly broke.
