Garden Weed Block Fabric Stake

Gardens can become overwhelmed with weeds if left unchecked, prompting me to take action by purchasing weed block fabric along with stakes. Unfortunately, these stakes were significantly pricier than anticipated, and the package contained only six or seven, which fell far short of what was needed to adequately cover the area. Determined to find a solution, I took matters into my own hands. I designed garden stakes that mirrored those found in stores, but with one key modification: I enlarged the head to ensure it held the fabric securely. This design tweak not only improved functionality but also resulted in a visually appealing product. When 3D printed using PLA, these garden stakes possess an added benefit – they are biodegradable. Although this process may take considerable time, it undoubtedly surpasses the environmental impact of their store-bought counterparts. After creating two versions, I found that the longer one performed significantly better and was easier to use.
