A 1971-built tractor, fabricated with secondhand Mercedes L406 components and a Vespa's 175cc 2-stroke engine, initially had 12 forward gears and three reverse ones. Later, it was upgraded with a Honda stationary engine, featuring 4 forward and 1 reverse gear. This innovative tractor could effortlessly pull a 15-ton truck. Designed in 1999 as an exercise, the 'Tractor' project aimed to demonstrate the feasibility of car recycling, although the concept was not well received back then. Remarkably, this eco-friendly vehicle is still operational today.
