This 3D model is based on a cast resin creature that we've had in our yard for several years. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information about the artist or manufacturer who created it. The scan using 123D Catch was very accurate and clean. To enhance it further, I used Cinema 4D's Sculpt module to make some minor adjustments. Additionally, I added a base to the model. If you decide to print this model, be prepared for an exciting experience due to its intricate surface texture. Printing at a large scale or with fine layers will allow you to appreciate the details of the creature's design. Before printing, it's essential to run the model through NetFabb to identify and resolve any self-intersects in the base. Although Skeinforge50 shows some warnings, it can still generate G-Code that works perfectly for your 3D printer. Our own TOM printer worked great with this model.
