Garden String Clip
prusaprinters

Attach your plants to a string trellis or a single hanging string. Once closed, the clip clamps down on the string and will not slide on the string. (I am using #18 mason line. I can't say for sure if it will work with thinner string.)

The clip designed by tritiumosu seemed like exactly what I was looking for, but it broke at the hinge the first time I tried to close it. In this remix, I changed the hinge so it does not have to bend as much. This version should last for many openings and closings. Additional changes were made to make sure the clip still holds the string tightly.

Printing

Print in PETG

Turn on build plate support

In PrusaSlicer, enable “detect thin walls” or part of the hinge won't print and the two halves of the clip won't be connected
