Garden Rake
thingiverse
This is a small hand rake for gardening, designed using 3D printing technology. Gardening enthusiasts may find this useful addition to their toolkit. Despite my initial print not turning out perfectly, the concept proved successful. To enhance its performance, try using 70% infill and multiple shells. The rake measures 8 inches in length, primarily designed for Ultimaker printers but also compatible with Repraps. Makerbot users may need to cut and glue parts together for it to work effectively. Sharing my first Thing on Thingiverse, I'm excited about this project, despite planning some improvements. I would adjust the spacing of finger indentations slightly and increase the length of the tongs. Keep an eye out for a derivative if I manage to create one. The design file is from Solidworks 2012, which I will update soon. In the future, expect a matching small shovel to complement this rake. Happy printing, planting, raking, and growing!
