A simple tool to help you in the Garden, It will make all the difference to showing off your plants in regimental rows, making it look professional.

You could get away with printing just one peg, using the string holder pulled tight for the other end of the line. However, I like to thread the string from the string holder through one of the pegs and tie the string to the 2nd peg. Pushing the 2nd peg firmly in the ground. You can then pull the string holder where ever you need, the 1st peg can slide along the length of the string pushing it in the ground at the desired position then use the string from the string holder wrapped around the top of the 1st peg. That way you are not wasting string by cutting it to a desired length.

I printed the Garden Line Tool in PLA for rigidity, so remember not to leave it out in all weathers. I tried printing the Garden Line Tool in PETG but found it had was too flexible to be practical.

There is an English saying about a ‘square peg in a round hole’. But in this case it works!

The string spool has a rectangular section for strength with the spool handle having a circular hole. This allows the spool to move freely inside and at the same time hold it firm.

The spool handle support does not have to be printed if you want a really basic tool. However, it can be used to hold the string spool upright or if you turn it around it can provide a bit more support when pulling string off of the spool.

Re Printing no supports are required.

I did create thicker walls than standard to give some strength to the product.
