I crafted these solar garden light stakes specifically for use with the generic garden lights found at Walmart. The smaller 0.6-inch diameter stake is designed for the 1-3 lumen garden light, while the larger 0.9-inch stake is tailored for the larger 5+ lumen garden lights featuring glass lenses or the spotlight variants. In addition to the standard stake design, I also created a shorter version that is ideal for areas with extremely hard or shallow dirt, which may not allow a normal stake to function properly. However, I do not recommend using these short stakes with heavier lights, as they may topple over. The water drain holes on each stake are positioned 180 degrees apart to prevent pests like ants from making themselves at home inside the light.
