This design addresses the issue of insufficient lever arm length and ambiguous direction for turning off the valve. A clear OFF label appears on both sides of the assembly, with an arrow that has been severed to eliminate confusion. If the valve unexpectedly closes in a different manner, simply flip the lever over to ensure proper alignment. A hole is provided for drilling a pin to secure the component, if necessary, as it presses against the existing handle with a slightly rubbery texture. The original valve was sourced from Home Depot and manufactured by Orbit under part number 442-559. Designed using Fusion 360, an accompanying f3d file has been included to facilitate rework or modification of this design.
