I was certain that this would be an easily accessible and budget-friendly component, but it turned out to be neither. I struggled to find it at my local home store, and the suggested work-around cost more than $10. I ended up sourcing the PVC threads from McMaster and the garden hose threads from a link on Thingiverse. To clarify, this is a female 3/4" GHT (Garden Hose Thread) fitting that converts to a male 3/4" NPT (National Pipe Thread).
