This convenient garden hose end features a rotating main connector that makes it simple to turn the water on and off as needed. The ID of the hose is specifically designed to fit either 1/2 or 5/8" (0.580") diameter hoses, providing a secure connection every time. To create this innovative design, I utilized SketchUp software and have included the original file for your reference. For the main parts of the garden hose end, I selected PETG as the ideal material due to its durability and flexibility. The gasket, however, was made from TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), which provides a snug seal and helps prevent leaks. To ensure optimal print settings, I used a 5% infill for the gasket, allowing it to maintain its shape while still providing adequate support and stability. This thoughtful design makes this female garden hose end an essential addition to any outdoor setup, guaranteeing effortless water flow control with every use.
