Garden hose connector x4 adapter for 1/4" irrigation tubing

This is a male garden hose connector on one end, four 1/4" connectors on the other end. They fit snugly into 1/4" irrigation tubing. This design has improved significantly over my first version since it features "ears" that allow easy twisting of the connector onto its companion without stripping the 1/4" parts. It also boasts substantial reinforcement for the 1/4" connectors, which are prone to bending forces in typical garden use. Note that this connector is constructed differently than what you might expect; I created it to address a specific situation, and if you're designing a hydroponic or irrigation system with printed components, you don't have to adhere to conventional connector styles. After extensive testing over several weeks, I've gathered valuable insights for real-world applications. I use Rain Bird 1/4" irrigation tubing, which fits securely but tends to constrict when stretched out. To overcome this issue, take a medium-sized Phillips-head screwdriver and gently spread the first 1/2" or so of tubing, then force it onto the 1/4" portion of the x4 adapter. The tubing will naturally return to its original size and fit snugly without leaks. Ideally, the tubing should extend all the way down to the bottom of the 1/4" pieces. The tops of these pieces are still relatively thin, but if you follow my advice and push the tubing all the way down, you won't encounter any issues with them snapping off. Additionally, make sure to use a rubber ring between this connector and its mating part; most hoses come equipped with one, but if you're matching it to another 3D printed component, you'll need to add it. I've also uploaded an alternate file, mm3impghc1x4.stl, which I've processed through MeshMixer. Some users have encountered issues with slicer errors; try this version if you experience similar problems.
