I scanned my daughter's ceramic garden gnome using my phone's camera and the Reconstructme software. The initial 3D scan needed some adjustments in Meshmixer to get it right, and I made some minor design changes at that point. My daughter seemed pleased with the result. To prepare the model for printing, I hollowed out the interior and added a hole for easy removal of supports after printing. Initially, I planned to print it on my Formlabs resin printer, but ultimately decided to use my filament printer instead.
