My garden gate's slight incline ensures it will shut itself under gravity's gentle pull. This clever addition clings to the wall, expertly catching the 10.5mm gate latch with just enough friction to prevent its unwanted self-closing habit. No more frustration when bringing in or out the bins - the swearing at the gate is now a thing of the past! I manufactured this solution using PLA with 50% infill and secured it to the wall with a sturdy 6-gauge masonry plug and a reliable 3.5mm screw.
