What a lovely surprise to discover a melon growing in my garden this morning. The stem had caught on my wire-mesh border, and it was hanging in mid-air. Its growth was limited by its weight, since the bigger it gets, the greater the risk of it falling off, crashing to the ground - a sad end for a melon. So I printed a shelf suspended from the wire mesh to support its weight.
