Garden Fairy House
cults3d
I'm transforming an old garden with apple trees dating back to the early 1900s. One of those trees sadly gave up the ghost a few years ago, leaving behind only a hollow stump of wood...at some point it will need to be removed, but I got the idea to bring new life into it by turning it into a fairy treehouse. With two little girls - one four and the other just one year old - we can enjoy the magic of these tiny creatures that have made our garden their home for years to come. The basic drawings for all the parts were created on Onshape, where I focused on designing as many of the components in a single sketch. The design isn't intended for mass production, so it's far from perfect, but if you'd like to use it, feel free to fork it and make any necessary changes - you can find it here: https://www.diygarageprojects.com
