Garden bench/swing coffee/beer table v2
myminifactory
This is a revised version of my compact bench table for tea/coffee or cookies. The previous design, observed after a year of usage, had several flaws. First, it was unstable due to a mounting point that was too far from the weight center. Secondly, high temperatures caused printed plastics to become soft and lose their grip on the holder/clamp. The new table is designed to be printable on a standard 20x20cm print bed without supports. The table size is 18x12cm and the entire project consists of three components: the table itself, a frame around it, and a clamp/mount that you can choose from. The clamp is suitable for poles with approximately 50mm diameter. If your poles are smaller, you can use rubber shims or ask for an alternative dimension. What has changed? The second release is much stiffer and works well even at high temperatures, but this comes at the cost of reduced mounting flexibility. Since the table's fixing point is closer to the center, it cannot be mounted on very vertical poles. To compensate, I have introduced 45-degree angle fixing positions, so you need to choose a suitable mount for your task. You will require three M5 nuts, screws, and washers to fasten the clamp.
